Um relatório das Nações Unidas declarou, no ano passado, que a Grã-Bretanha era o pior país, dentre o mais ricos, para se ser criança, baseado na exposição às drogas, violência e outras maldades.
Este ano, e bem recentemente, as mesmas Nações Unidas vieram desancar nas estrelas –quer do céu, quer da terra- pela, e segundo a minha própria intepretação, sua falta de tética, uso de substâncias caras e acessíveis, e por em vez de d(o)arem o exemplo venderem-no, principalmente à miudagem que os adora –e imita- cada vez mais caro! E, imagine-se, por conseguirem, quase sempre, não ir para à choça.
Aqui fica uma citação do discurso proferido pelo UNODC Executive Director Antonio Maria Costa na The 51st session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs - Vienna, 10 March 2008«Regarding drugs, I have noted lots of good will around the world, but also the damaging results of celebrities smoking, snorting, shooting and swallowing drugs - and being proud of their mischief. Time to react? I believe so. I was therefore pleased to hear of civil society and media campaigns to promote consumers' boycott against the fashion houses, recording companies, and sport enterprises that hire celebrities proud, rather than shameful, of their addiction. Class actions suits and other legal initiatives are a powerful means of discipline: let's confront the army of lawyers these celebrities can afford paying, with an equal number of volunteers fighting for the right of the weak, the poor and the addicts. These perverse role models need to learn fast, at their expenses, that their behaviour is harmful.»
Ainda recentemente, e na mesma veia humano-artística, Keith Richard -dos Pedras Rolantes- avisou as criancinhas, e a Amy também, sobre os malefícios das drogas: será que vão regravar todas as versões de “Brown Sugar”, “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” etc.
